Hello everybody,
Today we were talking about Guy Fawkes Day at School, let me
tell you something about it. Many young, brithish people celebrate on November
5th, but I think they don’t really care why they are celebrating Guy Fawkes Day,
the most important things for them are bonfires, fireworks and parties. But the
main theme about that Day is the unsuccessful plot to blow up the King and the
Parliament in 1605. Young Britains make figures out of rags and display them in
streets. That way passers-by can see the figures and give the children money if
they want to.
